NAT VPS? How do they work?

  • Ok, I got some NAT VPS's from Inception, I logged into the SolusVM panel, and added both www and non-www versions of the domain in the Proxy Domain section.

This was around an hour ago but I am still not able to see Nginx holding page?

  • When did you set up your DNS entries?

from what I can see you only added the www and it is working fine?

maybe the first time you did it you used the old script instead of the built in solusvm haproxy config 'proxy domains' tab?

edit: must be my eyes I see you added the domain.tld as well as the www.domain.tld

Sorry to bother everyone, since yesterday (approx 13 hrs ago) my DE server with EvoBurst went down, I checked in my EvoBilling and it tells me the problem has been solved.

    But I am getting

    This webpage is not available

    ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Now I haven't touched the server in quite sometime so haven't made any change in the settings.

I logged in via SSH, and I tried to re-run the NAT ip script

    root@nvl2011:~# bash proxy.sh

enter the domain you wish to proxy
    www.DOMAIN.COM

You can use the following information for webserver
    IPv4: ext.ern.al.ip
    IPv6: 2a02:e00:fffb:2eb::65c8
    For Domain www.DOMAIN.COM
    Is now Proxied to int.ern.al.ip

curl: (7) Failed to connect to ext.ern.al.ip port 80: Connection refused

    Any pointers?

Really? you still have not bothered looking at the forum with the actual information on it which is the official support and information for LES services?

It really is not strange, it is spelled out in black and white for you on the other forum, please consider using it.

I looked at the http://forum.lowendspirit.com/viewforum.php?id=15 but there wan't anything to suggest that there is a downtime at the DE server.

I then went to sleep, woke up time morning and it was fine.

@realbusiness - there's a whole forum to look through, generally downtime notifications are posted in News & Announcements (http://forum.lowendspirit.com/viewtopic.php?id=1601)

Edit: also, downtime of nginx != downtime of server. (just an FYI) your wording in your original post about this implies the server was down over 13 hours.

I have added a new sub section called Service Issues & Outages which will hopefully prevent cross forum pollution.

Thank you will keep an eye on that. I did see a 2-3 hr downtime notification in my EvoBilling panel but it didn't match my monitoring downtime figures.

    But all is working now.

  • can I use them for proxies?
