It would be better to run bench when node is filled up

  • @jcaleb Hehehe... Will wait for that confirmation from Randy :D

No offense buddy, but for an empty node, those io and Unix benchmark scores does look a bit bad.

  • correction, launching openvz today

Is this PV or HVM? The disk I/O suggests a single drive or perhaps an IDE driver.

Add some drives before you go live with that node, the disk performance is going to make VolumeDrive look amazing.

  • i am sure my 2nd node will do a better job, we will see later :)

I am not with volume drive, Limestonenetworks.com

i guess i will throw this node for windows boxes instead then.

he means volumedrive sucks, and if you dont add more disks, yours will suck much more.

Regardless of which use, a single drive is a big bottleneck and drive failure will destroy everything.

  • i will add for my 2nd node ( which will be used for openvz)

  • Are you sure you want to do this? The summer is almost over.

i am pretty sure my 2nd node has better performance than my first :)

my offers are attractive, that is all i am gonna say

he means you may be too late when your 2nd node arrives. because summer time is almost over

  • not to worry, when there is hard work, orders will come :)
