    Lower ping to Asia, fantastic!

  • Due to heavy load from our new San Francisco data center, new droplet creates may take longer than 55 seconds, please be patient.

  • Coupon code: SSDBEAR10 or SSDBEAR20 might still work as coupons for those who haven't signed up to DO yet. $10, $20 credit respectively on signup.

I'm sure SSDBEAR10 works as I used that a few weeks ago, I wasn't able to get SSEBEAR20 to work though

  • Created after 427 seconds, looks pretty good so far!

If those don't work, there's an E-mail coupon for $5:

Register with a credit card and enter 'HELLOSF' in the promo code field to receive a free $5 credit (one month free for a 512MB RAM, 20GB SSD Disk, 1TB Transfer droplet).

198.199.96.69 is an IP of a VPS there, traced from EDIS HK and OneAsiaHost - 167msec and 210msec, not terribly impressive to be honest.

  • Try: SSDBEAR10 first for $10 credit if it didnt work. here is an official one.

Register with a credit card and enter 'HELLOSF' in the promo code field to receive a free $5 credit (one month free for a 512MB RAM, 20GB SSD Disk, 1TB Transfer droplet).

    haha beat me to it.

  • We are planning to open more datacenters in 2013, including locations in Brazil,

This one I like. Finally, an affordable VPS provider in Brazil.

Yep, is good from germany, frankfurt (our location) too. Only 5 hops from germany to san francisco.

Well less than 200ms to both Europe and Eastern Asia is good enough for $5, could be better if they add an Asian DC though

  • I received an email from them, but yet, i'm not a customer of theirs?

I am struggling to get one running, so busy. Mind you I will probably better wait until all the scroats have finished bench marking.

I am a customer and I got an email :D

  • Yep the $20 credit expired a while ago, went a bit viral & everyone was using it.

  • Sorry, but only 5 Ping jumps from Frankfurt to Frisco in that amount of time is pretty good. I'm biased though because if it's new, it gets the benefit of the doubt from me. Especially if it's on a coast.

  • I use DO on projects based or accidental case, when need another server asap.
