Ewww OCZ are crappy SSD's, get some Intel 520's
I'd also try to stress one :P
We'be been assured these will perform better, the vectors is completely rebuilt from scratch

Which provider did you go for to rent the dedi? Most of the ones I've looked have all been Intel 520/320.

840 Pros doesn't work well with the high end RAID cards (LSI) and 830 seem to be out of stock from there suppliers
