I seem to recall a script that would test different links constantly with wget (to /dev/null) without stopping

does anyone have this please?

    wget "some other url here" -q -O /dev/null

    That is a so-called "benchmark"-script. I doubt the OP is looking for that.

    Yes however it would pull the downloads from serveral sources at the same time without stopping (i.e a constant /dev/null )
