VPS or Dedicated with Mac OS X and Xcode

Hi,

I need to develop an iOS application with XCode, but I don't have a Macbook :(.

I saw this services:
www.macincloud.com
xcloud.me
www.hostmyapple.com

Do you know another option?
Do you have experience with remote devevelopment?

My budget is from 20 USD to 50 USD max per month.
Preferred location is Miami, but I really don't care (US and EU are ok).

  • Mac OS X Virtual Machine (locally) would work, and be free (but a pain, took me 2 weeks to get it working)

  • You should install VMWare or Virtualbox on your PC, then download mac os iso, use the iso to install, and should work just fine, do the settings as mac machine on your virtualbox or vmware.

  • Yes, a Mac OS VM locally would save some money. However for unknown reasons it never works on my windows pc; it does work on my linux server though.
