Nub Question about Storage on Kimsufi Dedicated Server
Yes.. I got the $6/month server and here's my nub question. I installed runcloud.io on it and runcloud said I had 20GB... when I should have 500gb. So I ran the following command and this is the result...
sumhostshit:/# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
udev 974M 0 974M 0% /dev
tmpfs 199M 5.9M 193M 3% /run
/dev/sda1 20G 2.5G 16G 14% /
tmpfs 992M 0 992M 0% /dev/shm
tmpfs 5.0M 0 5.0M 0% /run/lock
tmpfs 992M 0 992M 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
/dev/sda2 439G 71M 417G 1% /home
tmpfs 199M 0 199M 0% /run/user/0
Any clue why runcloud.io picks up only 20gb HD when I have 500GB?
Can I put 400GB worth of files in the html folder?
Where the hell is the www or html folder in Ubuntu 2016? There is no www folder under var in my base Ubuntu 16.04 installation... facepalm

Most of the HDD is partitioned for /home by default, if I remember correctly.
Try looking for the html/www folder in /usr/share, that's where it is for nginx by default in 14.04 at least.
You have two partitions, / and /home. I assume your run cloud is installed on the / partition therefore its showing 20G.
Slash var slash www slash html? not directly, no as your /home directory is the one that has the bigger partition.
I don't think Ubuntu has a www folder until you install Apache (or whatever)
Then it should be in var/www/html
You can always just move that to somewhere in home, or repartition
Choose custom installation and choose other partioning.
