Routing problems between UPC and Cogent solved

Seems as if UPC and Cogent now have direct peering.

No more routing via the USA.

    So they (online.net) finally figured out how to give 50% of their target market a decent ping...

    No, they didn't.

    They are still using cogent to reach UPC customers, but cogent <-> UPC is not longer routed through the US, that is what the thread is about.
