KVM in HK

Is anyone aware of KVM VPSs offers in HK?

@Abdullah has been saying "in a couple of weeks" a year ago, but nothing ever happened.

  • @dediserve is good

  • They are. It's a shame they don't have any good offers here right now.

Everyone is. You just seem to be not willing to pay the price you have to get sustainable service else you'd have a provider already...

    Thanked by 2GCat Clouvider
  • I think hostus.us offer KVM in HK.

Hey @William you give me to much credit. I know nothing :-D. Dediserve is a good start. Hostus as far as I know still only offers OpenVZ.

Dediserve is good but do an check before you buy. Their network seems to be perform like shit to some random boxes but other VMS will have great connectivity I still have some credit due to this issue

They may have improved (I have never tried their in last 6 months)

they were unable to find the root cause

    They also don't do refund

  • @simonindia - happy to help you try again, but we never could find any issue on our side

    maybe try oneprovider

I haven't used them though, so I don't know how they perform.

Also, they seem to have some constraint for exotic locations, but I don't remember the details.

  • No one mentioned GigsGigsCloud?

  • @dediserve what policy for (direct) china bandwidth from your hong kong location?

In Hong Kong we peer only with China Mobile. The cost of peering with Telecom/Unicom is too high (but available on request at $30 per Mbps)
