Recommend me a messenger-style laptop bag.
Hello, Chums!
My laptop bag just fell to pieces so I need a new one. I like messenger-style bags with a shoulder strap (so I can have both hands free for phone & coffee), with enough space for a 13" ThinkPad plus a tablet, headphones, mouse and few cables.
This has to survive the daily commute (preferably for a year or more) so needs to be pretty tough.
Any suggestions on brands to look at?

Well, not sure if their style fits your style - but they got some pretty decent quality stuff: http://auntsanduncles.de/m/en/categories/20-messenger-bag
/EDIT/
Like their stuff too: https://leabags.com/ledertaschen/umhaengetaschen/messenger-bag-oxford
However, not sure it they trade their goods internationally...
Dumb question, do you encrypt your laptop ? have anything personal on it ?
I've generally found Targus bags to decent enough quality for the price. From experience their bags can survive a few months working in and around west African mines, so a 9-5 commute shouldn't be a problem.
Crumpler make good stuff, some of it is a bit outlandish but they do more toned down business gear as well, if you're happy to spend £100+ they're tried and tested.

+1 for targus too. I own one which is working fine for me for 2+ years. Zip felt off but I got the zip replaced
Qualitywise, I love everything coming from Crumpler.
No idea if any of their models fits your needs.

Some of my Crumpler bags accompany myself since many, many years and rough times and still look good with everything working well.
+1 on Crumpler. Also check out Timbuk2
I can recommend Crumpler too, i have had my current one for over 4 years now and it looks just as good as it did when i bought it.

It is encrypted as it's a work laptop.
I was unaware of Crumpler, stuff looks quite decent and reasonably priced, my issue is that I can't find a top-loader without a front flap - I'd rather not have the flap and reduce wait.
@Nekki
I use Timbuk2 and love them. They're expensive, but worth it. Link here.
Was given one of these by my boss and love it - http://www.shimano-lifestylegear.com/gl/bg/products/tour/006messenger_bag.php
Also recommending Targus, they're built pretty solid and are made to last.
