BlazeMuisBlazeMuis Member
edited April 2013 in General

I just bought a Kimsufi mKS 2G again, few months ago i also had one, but didn't need it anymore back then

Anyway, Bought it at 21:04 (9:04pm) got it delivered at 21:23 (9:23pm), which is really fast
Got it with the "Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU 330 @ 1.60GHz" CPU

Who else here got a dual core instead of the single core 1.2Ghz+ they say on their website?

  • Did you order directly or with a reseller?

    I still have a kimsufi, amazing for the price.

  • @curtisg said: Did you order directly or with a reseller?

    I ordered it directly from the dutch site of OVH

    I'm ordering one with TB HDD to test it. Using SeedRoots as I've used them in the past. Costed me $28

  • lumaluma Member

    Why not go direct and pay 14.99 Euro? ($19 USD)

    Seems a waste of $10.

    They don't accept PayPal from Canadians directly.

    I didn't know that. I was thinking of going through the nic process but if I can't pay through paypal that seems like a dealbreaker lol.

    yea I wish they have paypal.. I signed up from kimsufi.ie and I have to use my credit card each month.

    @curtisg said: Costed me $28

    Actually just thought about it why not buy the ks1 from ovh.ca.. for $11 more you get an i3 with 2x 1TB drive., and all they accept is paypal from ovh.ca.

  • @FluX yeah that was a deal breaker for me, but I found a legit reseller who I remember Jeffrey going though to get a KS server, so I am giving them a go again.

    I'd suggest them though, they seem friendly and will even transfer to server to your account on request.

  • Great -.- can't reinstall the Dedi...

    Getting: "Readonly session"
    Anyone had this problem?

    If you can't reinstall the dedicated server through their automated control panel try contacting their support?

    Since when does Kimsufi/Ovh have support? Last time I had a question it took 72 hours for a simple reply.

  • @joodle I had that, log out of your manager and log back in. Worked for me

  • @jkr1711 didn't think of that :) Thanks for helping me out

    I just reinstalled the OS on one of my servers and I got an error about the reboot system being down. I tried again 10 minutes later and it worked.

    So they must of had an issue with the automated system.

    What do you do with 6 atom servers anyways?

  • @luma yeah I had that a couple nights ago too, maybe they're doing some maintenance. Otherwise I'm very pleased with the network and everything else.

  • @jkr1711 speedtest of I/O + Network?

  • @curtisg Uno momento, let me pause my torrents

    Backups, torrents (legit of course!), testing this and that, screwing around, etc.

    @curtisg

    I had some stuff running in the background still, hence why mine is probably a lot lower than others. Haarlem test seems really funky, never played nice for me with any of my VPS tests.
