Question about load average.
Hello,
I got the dedicated from online.net and I'm hosting 2 CSGO servers on it.
Now my load average is always around this:
1.58, 1.71, 1.67
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1231 v3 @ 3.40GHz, 8 cores
RAM: 32 GB
I read somewhere on webhostingtalk; I shouldnt worry since thats normal for 8 core CPU.
My question is this normal? I'm not experiencing any lags in game on any server.
Thanks

It's normal with 8 core cpu, still more room available on your resource, until it's reach 8.00
as long no much i/o wait occurs

That's pretty low load for a system with 8 cores. Each active process/thread on your system that's running/runnable/blocked on IO contributes a load of 1; everything else sleeping contributes 0. So long as your load numbers are a little less than the number of cores you have, they system is always (on average) able to schedule the processes without them piling up in the queue. I certainly wouldn't worry about it, especially if you're not seeing any problems elsewhere.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you go over 6 with 8 cores... (usually I go by 0.7 per core)
Glad it all good.
Thank you very much guys.
