Hello,

Plan i am using: SYS-IP-1

i want to know is there a custom iptables rules i can prevent this from happening or any suggestion that could prevent this ddos?

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately noone will be able to help you unless you provide the attack details.

  • I'd seperate your website and gameserver. Cloudflare your website. For your Gameserver you can look into https://www.ovh.co.uk/anti-ddos/anti-ddos-game.xml. Your current Game Server does not apply for the 'Anti DDoS Game' package if I recall correctly.

They do have protection but it kicks in 30 seconds.. its not permanent mitigation where as Anti DDOS Game has it.

but with iptables can we do it ? atleast some protection

not much details, still I can say with a high probability it is a SYN flood. If that is the case, iptables can help you indeed.
