mailcow maybe?
Mailcow is an email server with an admin interface + roundcube (which I hate the interface of). I already use Mailcow to handle my email, but I need a client to read it.
I find this one to be very nice everytime I come across it: https://pixelated-project.org/
/EDIT/
Oh, my bad...not sure if it can be used as a normal IMAP / SMTP client - I could bet it was this way as I bookmarked it!
Wow, that's really cool! The client is really nice

Looks nice, but it's not free. Also it's a complete mail stack, not a webmail client. And it requires 4GB RAM.
