Help me understand CPU allocation
I see many different terminology used to described the CPU offered by the providers.
x Cores
x Cores (fair use)
x Cores (fair share)
x Shared Cores
x CPU
x vCPU Cores
x vCPU
I would like to understand if there are significant or subtle differences between these that one should be aware of before going for an offer.

All the same. Shared cores.
Although each provider may police CPU use in their own personal way, all of the above are (in my experience) just preference in advertisement wording. The only one that would stand out to me is "Dedicated Core(s)."
Does such a thing exist as
Dedicated Core
in VPS world?what does "8 CPU (1x priority)" from linode mean?
Im assuming you are assigned a lower weight using xen's credit scheduler.
Sure.
But not at LEB prices.
BlueVM does @vanarp:
One day !
