Need somewhere UK based with ideally 1Gbit network I can send you either a 2.5" or 3.5" back and forth every few weeks.
Anyone do this specifically.
Current idea is to colo a machine with @MSPNick and just mount the disk externally run the OS off a USB stick but thats not really ideal

Sent you a PM. :-)
If you offer anything like this, pm me too
Just had an idea pop into my head. You know those phone charger stations that are in Airports and other transport terminals etc, they're like lockers but have a cable inside so you can charge your device.
So, the idea is like that but inside the locker is a HDD dock and USB port so you can plug in a HDD and then use its web service to download data to it. Supports FTP, HTTP GET and Torrent. Place them in areas that can be hooked upto Gbit connections or at least 100Mbits.
Possibility to also use it to upload data from the device to FTP, SSH etc.
Sort of like

I have a locker there but it's full and another £60 is overkill
Would love something like it aswell
That's awesome! Shame I don't need it, because I'd love to give it a shot!
@OpticalSwoosh
That is neat! Price is good too.
(Add VAT)
I colo some personal i3s there. Might do some Pi zeros soon for £12/yr if anyone interested
@OpictalSwoosh, what's the bandwidth allowance with them, is it really 1gbit unmetered? I can't really tell from their website. Also, how are you handling power? Do you get your own UK power socket, or is it just the kettle lead shown in the pictures?
EDIT: I'm a bit of a tit. Clicked on the 'order' button out of curiosity and found out 10TB is included. I am not a clever man.
Ive got a kettle lead to extension. So I've got 8 i3s currently sat in there with a switch. (35TDP i3s)
oooh, had no idea those existed. Cheers for that!
Neither did I. So I made one, then bought one once I found out
Hit me up if you do the Pi anytime soon
Looking to host some DNS Servers and some Exchange Servers.
I have a few spare after I've given one to @doghouch
I'll see what I can get shipped down for you
Thanks!
