Storage: 4 × 500 GB SSD RAID 10
RAID card: dell H730 RAID 0/1/5/10 etc or similar 1-2 GB Cache
Bandwidth: unmetered but what ever standard
Supports Esxi
datacenter: europe or US (will do speed test)

SAN storage: 1TB for backup etc.

usage: small business erp application
we will manage the servers ourselves.

private network so 2 Esxi servers can talk to each other. i have looked at online.net only.
issue with them is private network of their is complicated and expansion to other few servers which we want to do will make things complicated to manage. firewall available as all communication preferably on LAN-LAN VPN.

Worldstream has Dell servers like that. You shouldn't use hardware RAID though.

    Exactly why?

Are you storing your data on the RAID10 or on the SAN?
What apps are you running that require 2x this configuration? This config will easily run 4 or more performance VMs. If you are doing this for redundancy you want the data on the SAN and not on the R10.

  • SAP Hana Business One ERP has in memory database and have certain requirements. You can't use storage SAN unless from HP, Dell, EMC. local storage on server is fine.

    Worldstream support how it is.

  • any more recommendations for Dell dedicated servers
