LET/LEB need to consider a new ad broker other than Buysellads?

edited March 2013 in General

After having our advert removed from LET and the account blocked I asked buysellads what was up. Three days later we get a reply of:

Hello,

My apologies for the delay- we do not allow VPS websites/ads on our network.

Best,
Jared

Uhm, wow...... that would kill a lot of their revenue.... because there is a bunch of websites with vps types of ads on them from buysellads not just LowEndNetwork..... I wonder what prompted the removal of these types of adds... obviously not all the advertisements are gone... so idk.

TBH, I think the guy who emailed me has got it wrong, but it's likely to be three days before I get any clarification. Not sure why my account is blocked and no refund given; however!

    Sorry!

I better be getting a $100 refund - and I know some people here spend XXXX/mo on these type of advertisements...

  • @shovenose
    No thanks.

  • Jared

    Pretentious much, Jared?

  • Not allowing VPS ads on a VPS forum makes sense.

They aren't allowing vps ads on the buysellads network at all.

I still wonder what prompted the boycott.... high level of fraud?

Hey if they don't want our money, I'm happy to start notifying all tech related websites that use them. Two can play that game.

Yea... wonder what we will use now though?

Seriously, shoveads. Publishers will like it because it will only take 10% of revenue so website owners will get paid more. Advertisers will like that rates are lower because of that.

Next question: How do you set up an ad network?

Make sure to contact anyone you were advertising on the website of. I'll add websites we were considering. They should be aware that their ad company is refusing money on their behalf.
