i want serious appraisals
Reg fee mate, that's it. I've given away domains like that before, they're worth nowt really.
$8.01
I'd probably ask whoever told you these domains are worth a lot. Otherwise, throw it up here for an auction and I'm sure we'll bid on it.
$8.02
-$10

if we're having an auction, i bid $15
You will seriously get only what people are willing to pay for it. Don't have a buyer lined up? Then it isn't worth anything right now. Is there a prospect for it to be worth a lot to a buyer in the future? If so (doubtful, given that particular domain), keep paying the registration until a buyer materializes.
In general, though, I say domain speculation stopped being worthwhile once country codes started to be abused and then they introduced new top-level domains.
You were told wrong, son.
1000ZWD. Take it or leave it!
Not true. Domain market is huge nowadays.
@OP,
The domain is worth 10-20USD max.
M is worth 3 points, the 8 and 4 is worth 12, so $15 word score, now thats a negative as the more characters in a domain is a bad thing. So -$15 so far. Lets take the yearly reg into count which is $13 so the domains "Worth" a whopping -$2
Now you'd best just upload a webpage that says its for sale and see what offers you get.
We have drastically different definitions for what constitutes "huge". Merely recouping registration fees is not indicative of a viable market.
1* handjob, you pay for flights and accommodation. Final offer.
It's only worth something if it was an abbreviation of some company or if it was meaningful. This... Is crap.

I once sold an expired and available to register domain at Sedo
Here is the story well during those days these clone scripts of popular websites were really popular like youtube clone script, facebook clone script etc so i registered a domain i don't exactly remember the name i think it was scriptsclones.com or something like that well i listed it on Sedo just for fun to see how it works i didn't receive any offer for 1 year and thn the domain expired.
I didn't renew it thinking it's useless but guess what although it was available to register but it was still listed for sale on sedo under my name. And thn i received an offer from someone i think it was 250 or 260 euro i accepted the offer registered the domain again for 10 or 11 dollar through namecheap and solid it to that guy for around 250 euro
It's not like random 3 letter domains are terribly difficult to get, I've registered a number of them off drops. Unless it's a .com or recognizable string, I'm not sure length = automatic value.
I'm officially tired of people saying "it's worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it".
No shit.
What the OP is (obviously) asking is "what would people typically pay for a domain like this?"
Here is some data:

All in the last 60 days.
Agreed. What I meant to say is, nowadays, the domain market is huge, there are many buyers out there. You just need to find the right buyer.
The last domain I sold, got 4.5k for it. I found the right buyer. That's basically the story here. Granted that the domain is awesome, but still.
I'm still waiting for the domain auction. Let's go.
What does 8m4 mean?

It's huge!
Appraisal: regfee ($0.99)
Personally I will not pay a penny for this domain name and nowadays so many domain names available like .host, .party, .biz and etc TLD. people will buy alternative TLDs if .com or .net is not available.
Nothing. That's why it has no real value beyond being short (which itself isn't worth much). You could brand it in a few ways with some effort, but I doubt it's really worth it for only the .net domain.
That was, of course, a rhetorical question. Yes, you're quite right, it means nothing. It would be better if it had a nice ring to it.
Not sure how big the market is for Toyota paint code aficionados, but if you're looking for a nice...
