Just received this in my e-mail figured customers of RootNerds would find this of interest:

My name is Saket Kale and I am the director at HostRoyale Technologies. It gives me great pleasure to inform you that RootNerds.com has been acquired by HostRoyale Technologies.

We would like to bring in a lot of improvements in this company. Please allow me to give you some specifics-

About HostRoyale-

-Founded in 2012

-Registered company in Pune,India

-6500+clients in 115+countries

-22 worldwide locations

-24x7Technical Support team with 30minutes response time guarantee

How does this acquisition benefit you?

1.Prompt support-
We will guarantee 30 minutes response time and aim torespond and resolve issues much faster. Being existing clients, some of you might have already seen the improvement in support responses and resolutions.

We will work on including Level1 Live Chat as well.

2.More locations-
RootNerds currently only offers Germany as a location. After the takeover,we will offer USA,Portugal,Spain,Ukraine and India locations at similar pricing. We also have many more locations and this can be easily found by taking a look at all the places where our IPs are announced.

3.More technologies-

Currently, only OpenVZ VPSes are available. We will bring in a full suite of services including Xen,KVM as well as multiple SSD/HDD options and Windows VPSes.

4.Managed services-

We are primarily a managed vps provider. All orders would be upgradeable to managed services including cPanel,Plesk, plain CentOS/Ubuntu,Tomcat/Java etc.

6.Payment methods-

>

We will accept PayPal andthe following gateways will be added for your convenience-
Credit/Debit cards(2Checkout),BitCoins.
For Indian clients,it will be possible to pay via NEFT/Bank Transfer.

Meet our Team-

>

  1. Sharmila – Sharmila is our Head of Support. She will oversee major upgrades, manage our L1 to L3 support as well as handle some billing/sales tickets.

RootNerds was a popular openvz host here on LET, go and search and you will see they made offers here for a long time. If you happen to still be using them now, obviously this shows they have now been purchased from the German company which previously was running the brand.

    Cheers!

I'm used rootnerds VPS for one year from LEB deal. They was good in that time.

  • @RootNerds WTH is wrong with your system. All the sudden about 48 hours ago I got an alert a new server was setup in my account. Then I received an invoice. I then logged into my billing portal to see that I now had another server which was 'terminated'. I then opened a ticket and now 24+ hours later I receieved an overdue invoice notice from your system and yet, no ticket reply from you. If your goal is to make services better, so far your failing miserably. Please check my ticket #PGC-423-71652 and reply with whats going on!

    Cheers!

Maybe WHT (or whatever) leaks lead to your account being compromised and someone is spamming in your name or sumethin'.

    Hello,

We have stopped using the old support system(kayako), I request you to please send an email to [email protected] from your registered email address with us and I will get this checked.

We are still in the process of moving things and fixing problems, during this period, there can be mistakes for which we apologize.

    Thanks!
