Open Source to host family pictures and videos

I am having too many pictures and videos of my baby. Any Open Source I can use to back up online and also view it on demand?

nginx + PHP. Preferably if I can upload to a folder in server via scp and it should be able to pick it up. thumbnail can be nice but not required. Something easy to install and almost no config.

Suggestions there are too heavy for me. I wish something simpler.

I can remember that @Mun had a photo album script. Not sure if it can handle videos as well.

I use it on shared hosting so it's pretty lightweight. It's a simple but feature-rich photo gallery app. Not sure about video.
