Lowendbox/Lowendtalk are not IPv6 enabled?

After fixing IPv6 for https://raymii.org and enabling a tunnel at home I found out that LEB and LET don't have IPv6 enabled:

This. IPv6 is the most difficult thing ever for a datacenter to acquire.

    That's sarcasm I hope.

I'm afraid not. I signed up with Calihop because they advertised IPv6 and had reasonable prices; not available for a month or more.

  • @Damian

We've also been told that his 1Gbit lines will be coming in by the summer, but possibly sooner depending on how this 'sale' goes, what's the largest allocation you've had from him? Or are you using your own AS Allocations?

IPv6 sounds good though, for the pricing. :)

A /27. I wanted to start with a /26, but he didn't have a contiguous /26 available. He offered to order one, of course, but we chose to go with the /27 and add the /26 when it's needed.

  • @Damian,

We got the initial /29 and got a /28 almost instantly, afterwards, we got another /28 after we filled up almost instantly. We've been unable to take orders for two days since we've filled both blocks and we're waiting on allocation of a /26. We're contacting ARIN in regards to getting our own block, but we've read that in June/July a new category 'XX-Small' is coming out which allows /22 and smaller, with a lower price of $500 too, and a reduction of $250 on the X'Small category.

It's annoying that we're waiting on IP's from the DC, but at the same time, lots of places are being stingy with their IPs :')
