Hello.
I want to know how much does a server with the following configuration cost?
Processor: L5420 or L5520 or above
Ram: 16GB.
Disk: 1TB SSD
Bandwidth: 1Gbps 20TB.
Location: Anywhere in the U.S.

    Not to mention that server with this old CPU will likely feature SATA II therefore limiting the drive's performance.

    As Dom already said, SATA2 will limit you a lot. No point in using this in such an old config. Message me, I have a server standing by with 4x256GB SSDs with E3v3 CPU on relatively low pricing, if this interests you.

  • SATA2 is will limit sequential speed. Unless the application requires super fast sequential speeds (the vast majority do not), SATA2/3 is largely irrelevant.

    SSDs provide far more random or sequential speed than most applications need, regardless of interface.
