Dedicated Server - US East Coast
Hello,
I hope that you can suggest me a good provider that offers servers on US East Coast (NY / NJ) with very good connectivity to Europe.
I am about to replace a dedicated server from Cogent and the main reason for replacing it is the slow speed from Europe / Middle East to this server.
I have a few budget limitation but there are not relevant considering that I am looking for high quality solution.
Thank you for your time.

May we know the needed spec and the budget ?
It can be a dual xenon with 8 GB Ram - 1Gbps port (30-50TB traffic) and the budget can be discussed.
I have a server with reliableservers.com, they are on the easy coast.
My opinion www.sastahost.com have wide range of dedicated server with low price & best support
Dude, typo error. Nobody uses xenon as server processors.
Yes - I know the typo but I am guessing that everyone here knows what I need
In your opinion, the company you're advertising in your signature has the best support...not a great attempt at sounding neutral there
In my opinion all Providers in LET have wide range of dedicated server with low price & best support
Cheers
I suggest Choopa or ReliableSite. They have the best network and uptime I ever seen in their NJ facility.
I would try 100tb if you are using that much bandwidth if they are in your budget. Although their own NY data center has a solid network, it may be worth it to spend the extra $50 per month for Washington DC which is Softlayers data center. It has excellent connectivity to Europe.
Choopa's network is average at best anymore, at least for latency. Not sure how their download speed compares.
Try dacentec:

Thanks for the recommendation.
You're going to see a lot of improvements soon, we've been pushing them hard to bring in new carriers to reduce latency to residential areas and rely less on GTT/NTT.
