Hello,

I'm evaluating providers in specific locations in UK.

as20860 (Iomart Maidenhead)
as29017 (Gyron Centro Datacenter)

As an alternative, any offers with less than 30/40ms from here: http://glass.cprm.net/cgi-bin/traceroute.cgi

I'm only looking for XEN (preference) or KVM with a minimum 1G Ram + 4 Cores + 20/50 Disk (SSD/HDD). The budget is £15/month.

    thank you, @Liam :) our LDEX PoP is indeed sub 30ms away from the cprm traceroute. But we cannot match the budget for the specs, unfortunately.

    Our Xen offer here is still available and happy to double/triple packages as required to get to the specification that you require, currently provisioning these packages on an SSD array.

    If you need low ping from Portugal wouldn't it be better to find a host somewhere in Portugal, or in Spain? No idea how is the regional peering in Portugal.

    Most of the peering is made through UK and NL.
    There are literally 5 or 6 reliable providers with VPS in Portugal, and from these only 3 have XEN.
    Price is scared :)

    I was going to suggest you some ISP in Spain, but looks like your ISP doesn't peer with any Spanish provider at all. Routes from my home in Spain are going through London before reaching cprm.net :(

    From Spain, I get good routes to iomart and Prometeus for example, and there aren't great providers in Spain, so I don't really host anything here.

    If you want to consider Spain anyway, Edis is hosting at the Comvive DC in Madrid: http://www.edis.at/en/server/kvm-vps/spain/

    SoloGigabit offers decently priced services in Valencia, but my personal experience with them isn't good:

    Please note that I am only listing "not bad" providers, if you haven't very specific needs you should probably consider better FR, UK, DE or NL providers.
