Is it possible to forward an ip?

If I was to nat off a virtual machine could I use a dedicated IP from another virtual machine and forward it to the nat'd port of the first?

Failing that could I setup a server on ipv6 and forward another server's ip at it?

Any thoughts?

What about creating a forward rule with iptables?
Quite easy to setup as well :-)

That tutorial is pretty crap at this point. Redir is garbage and i'd highly recommend haproxy.

I just use xinetd, doesn't really get any more basic than that. Haproxy is probably a little smarter.

Granted when I forward traffic it's usually a short term thing, so I'd take Fran's advice over mine.
