Hi,
I have UK OpenVZ, or is xen/kvm a definite requirement. Your RAM will be fully usable.
Hi,

Seen as it says "Looking for KVM or XEN VPS" i would say that's a definite requirement LOL.
Then try MyRSK, they offer out of the same facility, just no HW RAID.
Germany:

Wow.. Contabo is cheap.
too oversold
Desktop hardware FTW: http://contabo.com/?show=our_servers and http://contabo.com/?show=webcams
But it is cheap, that's definitely right.

@mpkossen from what I can tell they use server motherboards, and ECC RAM so all is good.
The towers look cabled neat, so I doubt you would see a difference vs a rackmount server.
Hmm I'll probably pick up a VPS XL with Contabo next week, see how it compares to a 16GB Kimsufi
Hello,
I can offer the following
2GB RAM (512MB additional for free)
100GB HD SW RAID 1
2tb bandwidth on 100mb/s
10GB offsite backup + DNS.

It's Xen...
Actually, no, they use desktop board, desktop CPU (Intel i7 6 core) 6x 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz regular RAM, RAID 1, SSD cache and looks like they have a GPU in there...
Nevertheless, this is just another brand of GigaHosting which have complete horrid support, had their KVM VPS.
4GB RAM
200GB DISK
2x1000mbit
1 IPv4
KVM
$25/mo
That's pretty big.
I'm sorry if I said it like it's a bad thing. It isn't necessarily. I do have a feeling though, looking at their prices, that it's different from rackmount servers.
I meant their OpenVZ plans, forgot that this topic is about Xen/KVM
we offer the following:

Is it RAID-10 or RAID-1?
Why not go with a few kimsufi's?
With your budget, you could take a look at dedicated server offers from OVH for France, Hetzner for Germany etc.
If you prefer VPS for some reason, burst.net (http://burst.net/xenvps.shtml) has the following Xen VPS for its Manchester, UK location:
You can either order from the above link directly or PM me for a discount.
Just btw they don't even have cisco guard in UK.
BurstNET Manchester is not good.
Network isn't good. Hardware is probably old too.
On http://burst.net/xenvps.shtml , MANCHESTER (UK/EU) is listed as one of their locations. Would you care to back that up? Thanks
If indeed they don't have cisco guard in their UK location, it would be bad for their reputation for providing false information, right?
Network isn't good. Hardware is probably old too.
Is BurstNET a good hosting company? AFAIK, their VPS's not known for its performance (CPU: 2500MHZ GUARANTEED in this case), but their services are rather solid?
And what's wrong with BurstNET.eu's network? Thanks
They have a lot of routing and network outages.
Thanks, I'll check with burst.net and see if I can get relevant stats.
Meanwhile, @azizbd, please ignore my previous comment regarding burstnet (Manchester) offer.
