depends how badly you are going to oversell those cores.
That storage is a killer.
We still have Williams Q6600 somewhere, that thing does like 5.2Ghz but has only DDR2....

Since I do it I'll answer your question.
Sure, people are interested, but obviously it's not going to bring you dozens of clients in a day or two if that's what you're expecting with the high clockrate. If the host doesn't oversell it and is able to keep things running smoothly (e.g. no downtime, CPU abuse, human error, etc.) it's lovely. I generally never have a problem with CPU usage on the VMs on a 32GB system, but I don't oversell memory either. Cores are obviously oversold but who doesn't on a 4-8 core CPU? CPU usage is rarely over 30-40%.
