    Just like their support.

Seems like a poster child for a teenage summer host:

    1. Tyler posts an offer last August: https://lowendbox.com/blog/hostmybytes-pooled-openvz-vps-in-phoenix-or-montreal-starting-at-3-49month-for-1gb/

    2. People signed up, support went to hell

    3. Eight months later, it's sold.

Well, i was kinda wrong. nvm

  • Let's wait and see what happens. I was considering cancelling my VPS anyway as their phoenix location seems to have issues. I'm just using it as a sandbox so it doesn't really matter but had to turn off all notifications from my monitor as I felt I was spamming myself :)

  • I currently have a pooled plan and never got this email? Gonna check my box is still up.
    Thanks for the info

With a such short response like that, I would argue that you've already stepped out.

Where's the fluff/bs/pillow-talk to comfort us through this change?

  • Hi,

This is David - one of the new owners at HostMyBytes. We concluded this deal recently and made announcements of our plans to improve HMB today. As part of our improvements to the Support Department -- we have hired supportoperator.com as a support partner to provide tech support to our customers during off-peak hours. This allows us to truly provide 24x7 support via Live Chat and Support Ticket.

Stay tuned for more improvements and great sales coming soon!

  • And somehow the only thing that has an 'In Progress' label is the new website.

@Wsntechgeek I wish you the best, keep it up and get back the reputation :)

  • @wsntechgeek

    Thank you fr the update.

Will the server remain at their locations .. any changes ? Im on your Germany node ( WHM Reseller ) will there be any changes ?

  • So your improving support? What about existing customers, can we expect outages server moves or nexhost?

  • @carcosa said:
    or nexhost?

    Heh, he's a verb now.

  • @Mridul : there will be no change in the current node or price of any of the services .
We will add more node for our Canada location .

  • @Wsntechgeek, thanks. We look forward to seeing your offers in future.
