I personally don't like the ps3. I like the control and stability (yes i know this is MS we are talking about) of the LIVE network. There are never large periods of downtime like with PSN. Plus Sony is finally seeing why microsoft charges for it. Because this networking crap ain't cheap.
The 360 just appeals to me more for the quality of games and everything just works.

I have an xbox, got a PS3 to give it a shot. It was miserable.
The popup menu (hitting the PS3 logo) takes forever to load, updating games like Battlefield often froze the entire PS3 and forced me to unplug it. The only thing I liked is that I felt the graphics were nicer.
Xbox has its own issues but I've found it more reliable.
