HDD issue. Need help

One of my friends has a server with OVH. He tells that his Disk I/O speed suddenly reduced from 150 mbps to 100 mbps. Is the HDD failing?

SMART of HDD1: https://pbot.rmdir.de/mHZwo-zVWIBD7KxrbPhi4A

SMART of HDD2: https://pbot.rmdir.de/xxBZZvvjnQgzbxf-uJEgyQ

They are in SoftRaid.

He used the freevps.us benchmark.

No. How did he run the tests? Was the server idle during the tests?

    Yes. Server was idle.

But the I/O speed should not come down to 100 mbps as I used to have 150 mbps I/O in my SyS server.

Are they running in software raid? Has he checked the raid status? Has he checked iotop to guarantee there is currently no other io activity.

    What "test" did he use?

This topic can closed as the OVH staff were helpful enough to replace both HDDs (in 45 minutes)

those drives are nearly brand new and flawless, there is nothing wrong with them.
as already suggested it may come down to raid being synced or something like that, but that's nothing which should need a replacement at all...
