Just got email from uptimerobot.
Don't watch twitter? Last time the issue happened, I said I would reboot the router at a later date to verify everything, I just did that, the filesystem was gone, reloading it and yes it is an issue today, but will be much shorter.
Again 7hrs? like before? My bad luck to host 3 KVM with you
I have the OS reloading now, then restore the config, I expect 30 minutes.
This is pick hours for us. We are Losing Customers
Up now.
Something very strange with the router, the config filesystem would just vanish, reboot, not fixed, reloaded OS, it sees the config, saves it and SSH keys and on reboot, everything fine, real head scratcher.
i am new need order but i se down 1 week waw pending
Yes! No More with Hostigation, Our next Destination is prometeus or ace-host.net
Yes, EU is the best for Middle East and South East Asia
Or the other way, prometeus is much closer to middle-east, among the best locations wthin EU.
On another note, Hostigation has a very good record, had a lot of bad luck lately as many other providers had.
I Have two vps with prometeus. So far no issue with KVM.
Prometeus... Oh~~no

So many vyatta issues lately huh?_?
Eggs. One Basket. She-it.
LowEnd. be realistic
Gee, we have <400 ms to australia and Japan, where are you located ?
I saw such numbers when someone was using a satellite link that was going to US and then back.
I'm still happy with Hostigation since it give me lowest ping and lowest hop from Malaysia. Perfect for my personal vpn. :-)
Thanks, I'm still in it to win it, just some bad luck this week, and I have invested in making this situation less painful should it happen in the future
Count backwards one year from today and add up the combined downtime of Hostigation. Not many providers here can say that they have that good uptime.
Hostigation is in my humble opinion a premium leb provider.
Agree.
Sorry, I meant if the site is that critical then there needs to be some redundancy it's nobody's fault but their own.
In no way did I intend it as a criticism of this incident, the handling of it or indeed yourself or your business. I've used hostigation in the past and will in the future and never hesitate to recommend both yourself and your service Tim.
Ah, shit happens here and there. And if it happens twice in a short timeframe it can look really bad in certain moment however I didn't get impression like this would happen every week or so and as long host acknowledge problem and work on it there's no need to act immediately like it's the end of the world. Timmy care and he will fix it.
Got it, I am a bit frazzled so certainly didn't take it as you intended, all's well
If customer retention was a focus of your business, wouldn't it be best to consider some sort of HA setup?
@miTgiB No worries mate!
Your just running away from downtime. It will catch you at each provider.
Murphy has a way of settling the score, doesn't he?
people don't realize that hardware isn't magic...
