@blackhippy If you can bump up 5 more dollars you can get something with Mr. @jonchun. You won't regret it!
Dacentec.
If you can do $39.99, QuickPacket has Dual Xeon L5420 in Atlanta and LA or Xeon X3470 in LA.
JonChun and GoMach5 have been well reviewed on their recent LEB offer
@delimiter, I hear hey have a whole heap of cheap servers about to come in to stock
/troll
wholesaleinternet? It looks like they have some servers in your price range, though I personally haven't tried them.
I used wholesaleinternet a few years ago, had their cheapest server at the time (P4, 2GB RAM), had no issues and great support.
Never used it for production though.
You can go for :
PLz note quickpacket is cheap yet very reliable and highly recommended.
Thanks alot guys for all your suggestions. I choose GoMach 5:)
I have and they did a good, job, with Delimiters latest issues I got one back at Whoelsaleinternet to move a few things over so all my eggs wern't in one basket, but Wii y just went down... :-(
Wow, what are the odds?
Lol I am not buying a lottery ticket this weekend, odds are against me.
Okay they are back up, thank god it was only about 30 minutes
datashack.net ?
Can't fault GoMach5 (@Jonchun's brand) was a customer before and had no issues, hence after the Dacentec issues I went with him again for a server and shipped my own drives... He was incredibly quick to get it all running for me too.
Could u provide dual 5420 in LA for me?
Yes, use coupon code LETXEON39.
Thanks
If you can live with non-xeon, quickpacket's i3 is super solid. Having 2 i3s with them and never had a problem from the first day.
They use ddr2 ram for their $40 and under server.
What do you expect.. What do you think their P/L sheet looks like after the inevitable hardware failures?
I imagine not very great.
