What do you suggest to do with 25G B/W?
The same thing as you do with a VPS anywhere only for things where you don't need as much traffic.
I know a lot of people want more traffic but trust me there seems to be plenty of people who don't need a lot for their specialised applications as well.
I know I generally dont use much more than 10GB/mo on my webservers, could be useful for that.
For a small blog, it's suite.
Remember, bandwidth in Australia is expensive
Even for Australia, $5.50/m for those specs is a bit overpriced, in my opinion.

It's even expensive here in Malaysia. VPS usually just get 1mbps connection and you can rent dedicated server in USA with the price.
And this is a low amount, which levels it out.
25 GB is just way too low, and you don't even have any separation between local/international bandwidth (with more, or free in-AU b/w).
I don't think people understand just how expensive bandwidth is here. 25GB on a VPS for $5.50 a month is an amazing price.
@rm_ The datacenters don't distinguish the difference between local and international bandwidth. Once it leaves the datacenter it's all the same.
100% agree with @trewq. Also it's an amazing price in comparison to pretty much every other Australian VPS provider.
The funny thing for me as a provider to see is that for every one person who comments on the low amount of bandwidth and who thinks the deal is bad, there are probably a few dozen who sign up and use <20% of the bandwidth that is allocated per month.
Of course the deal is not suited for many applications (especially the high traffic tasks that many people here seem to be interested in for whatever reason) but there is a market for these budget Aussie VPS services!
Adelaide is the capital of South Australia. The next major city is Melbourne which is 800 kilometres away. In the other direction the next major city is Perth which is over 2500 kilometres away. All internet traffic has to go one way or another and most would go to Melbourne. Per mbit bandwidth at the wholesale level is cheaper between Sydney and San Jose (i.e. across the Pacific Ocean) than between Adelaide and Melbourne. This is just about economies of scale and where the infrastructure has been deployed.
Anybody have a test file? I'm curious as to what speeds I'd see for something like this (I've never had a VPS outside of the US before, this might be my first).

FWIW I can generally upload to my GorillaServers system at 3 or 4MB/s. I can upload to my California Linode at about 3MB/s. Connectivity to Europe is another matter... That is almost always significantly slower.

Yes, that is exactly what I see as well. Sure I could go and list it as having 100GB available but then if one person uses even half that I am going to have some problems... :-P

This is obviously targeted for people in Australia.
Australia is very monopolized in terms of infrastructure and has limited overseas capacity. This actually is a fairly decent offer. I know this because I help set up POPs and do remote hands work for various ISPs in different Data Centres in Adelaide.
Hopefully in the coming years prices will be more sane and bandwidth available as we're all waiting for our "National Broadband Network" to roll out which will mean there will be more competition that will drive costs down, but it definitely won't be comparable to the US. That's just transit as well.
Real estate isn't cheap here, nor is power. We also have high commercial and income tax rates, higher minimum wage and the list goes on.
It's nice to see some one else from Adelaide out and about.
