VirtWire - No Terms of Service?!

Just wanted to order from VirtWire only to find out their ToS leads to "not found".

Does anyone know more?

Dude, they're $3.50 for the first month... just make sure your DNS has a reasonably low TTL and jump if you feel like you want to. Make sure to review.

Or, if you get cold feet, stay on that pier.

Does "they" refer to the ToS or to VirtWire? VirtWire is the new face of Evoburst (same owners). Yes, they are trusted.

Their TOS is simple & for most good hosts they apply

    just as follows

    1)Don't be a dick.

    2)lower your expectations

    3)Soft layer doesn't have servers for 7$

4)use MXroute like services for email(Definitely Mxroute for email)

    5)have some patience

    6)pls read the things above

@Ympker they are very trusted in my exp with them just be realistic that's all i hope you will have a great exp

    Have a great day

  • i bought 9 vps from them some weeks ago, there wasn't a working tos site so i accepted it, i took screenshot of everything, the thing is i used the vps's for traffic exchange and it was supposed to be forbiden, after a week, the owner sent me a ticket telling me my vps were getting cancelled if i don't stopped doing what i was doing, he told me i was breaking their tos (but there weren't any tos), anyway, i ended up stopping all my vps's, if i was a dick, i would had let my vps run and getting them cancelled so i could open a dispute on paypal and win it, i had proof that i have signed a blank tos and that they had cancelled my vps for breaking nothing.

but i'm not a dick so i just shutdown my vps, it looks like after a month, they still don't have a working tos site...

  • Damn, brutal TOS :) . In general - if you fail face control they will report you to FraudRecord straight away.

    Nope. Simple as that.

TE break ToS since they have also a fair-use policy.

what i mean is there wasn't a working tos when i agreed them, and i had proofs of that, and i asked many people to check if their tos site was working because i thought i wasn't working only for me, but no, it wasn't working for everyone... i could have done whatever i wanted with my vps as i signed a blank tos, nothing was forbidden...

Unfortunately, no. It's was your duty to contact the provider to request a copy of the ToS, if you see the link is broken. It's may happen since their website are in maintenance. But this doesn't give you the right to do wathever you want with their service.
