Is Quadranet Asia optimized route only for inbound route?

It is right? Only for inbound?

There is the reply from quadranet

Hello,

Asia Optimized is used for inbound connections, not outbound. Meaning it allows a direct connection from China Unicom and China Telecom, to our network.

As routes change with BGP all the time, our routers choose the best outbound route based on optimizations available. This applies to Asia Optimized and regular IP's.

They probably have an optimisation system in place which automatically directs traffic basing on conditions like packet loss, latency, port saturation, commercial factors, etc.

Asian Optimized IP addresses allows us to make broad BGP advertisement changes
to those blocks to affect incoming and outgoing paths to correct any routing
irregularities, congestion and other negative effects that Chinese (and some
other country's) ISP's frequently have. Should you have a recommendation or require tweaking, just ask to speak with a network admin and we'll gladly assist.
