How reliable is QEMU HDD?

Not a dedicated if it's QEMU as that's for emulation, more than likely KVM.
Or XEN PV this one reports HDD as QUEMU too I think.
You won't be able to see what brand or model of disks is used by your provider from the VM level. You can ask your provider though, but you won't have any way of verifying this.
@Benj its not an dedicated server its an VPS using Xen or KVM Virtualization i presume
If you take the time and google the answer will be right before you.
Maybe it's a VDS?
As reliable as a small pony called Geoffrey.
Where did you buy the server
servdiscount
i'm yet to understand why they call it a dedicated server, do you mind explaining this to me please?
Post the results of the following commands for me to get the post-mortem
My Crystal ball in on holidays, what about asking their support!?
Perhaps they stated "dedicated resources" rather than dedicated server?
Do you mean iSCSI? Half of there Displayed storage is not a local harddrive, it its network storage at Servdiscount. No idea if that stuff has Raid.
For example: AMD Opteron X2150 has 32GB local SSD and 1TB iSCSI
We threatened them, got now 1TB HDD instead of 500GB and 1TB iSCSI, but took us days.
They dont even list them as ISCSI.
There is one place that claims them as cloud servers but on the same page as dedicated
i understand now, thank you all.
Admin you may please close this thread now
My suggestion, move away, its shitty for any productive usage, exepct you have a backup server there.
Closing as requested.
