plan 1 https://www.arubacloud.com/vps/virtual-private-server-range.aspx, but 1gb ram
We are quite similar
https://www.hetzner.de/ot/hosting/produktmatrix_vserver/vserver-produktmatrix
but @arubacloud is Vmware
makes most likely no difference; OP is probably just not wanting OVZ.
arubacloud is good for the price. 2GB RAM, 40 GB SSD, 6.5 euros (or the best seller 1 GB/1 euro). It has no Dos protection, network is good, CPUs are generally slower than OVHs, and SSD storage is really fast
I just can't think Arubaclould will remain at the price for a long time.
Are Hetzner SSD pure or cache?
What about CPU?
And OVH is KVM. Comes down to the same thing for the end-user, except a few drivers.
some time ago, I just played around with one of their CX20 , posted some benchmarks here: http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/1277435/
afair pure SSD, but can't tell about the underlying raid-or-whatever setup, CPU one can only guess, inside the KVM it reads Intel Xeon E5-26xx (Sandy Bridge) @ 2.10 GHz...
