  • They're busy as long as they're all in use. There is limited quantity. Don't forget that it's not virtual hardware but physical hardware that is available in limited stock and needs space, cables and et cetera. They can't provide an unlimited stock.

I think they just disabled it after the first few weeks or just reduced numbers available significantly.

I think they're just wiring up a few more for you to test. Just a wait bit more.
    Meanwhile, go have a smoke.

Wow, didn't realize they were having issues with IP availability and ran out of hardware

Now when you try and create a server you get.

    No reserved IP available

There is no more available IP in our reserved IP pool. Please, retry your request later.

I was about to start a new project and wanted to use a few... Bad luck I guess...

Yeah I was going to try out my Scaleway account later this week but I took a quick glance at their user forums and there seem to be a lot of issues with ip availability, no estimated time on new hardware, etc...

  • just created an instance earlier today. had no problem.

It must be your lucky day. I tried several times since last two weeks but without luck.

Existing customers can order, they are just not accepting new orders.

According to Yann Léger (VP Scaleway), when capacity allows you will need to request an invite, and it will be approved on a first in, first out basis.
