HTTP Proxy Setup & DNS

I'm thinking of offering a HTTP proxy service for free on top of our VM's.
Including free DNS. (Global). Around 5 DNS servers and 7 HTTP proxies.
Would this be a good feature? This protects your site from DDoS and hacking attempts (Port Scan, SSH bruteforce).

Please let me know your feedback. And how would this be called? I was thinking CDN but I'm not sure if it's the correct term.

  • Why not email your clients and ask for input to see what they want rather then the LET community who probably don't have a service with you?

Our customer base is not that big, and I'm asking if it's a good idea, not if they want it.

Software installed on the proxy nodes that prevents basic Layer 7
