Looking for shared web hosting < $10/mo
Hi all,
I'm looking for a shared web hosting whose price is under $10 per mo and a monthly billing cycle is accepted.
Detailed request:
Available extra dedicated IP (not free is okay), or SNI enabled for multiple SSL certificates
Auto backup (daily)
cPanel / DirectAdmin
SSD, >5GB disk space, >50GB monthly bandwidth
Optimized for WordPress
Please recommend, thanks!

This price is good enough to go with Linode $10 plan.
Not to say Vultr(my to-go-with provider, thinking of moving to Linode this black Friday though), DeactiveOcean(it works), Ramnode(loved by everyone), and tons of them....
Pick someone, get a cPanel pre-loaded, and you are set.
Yes, and actually I have a Linode virtual machine in Dallas. But that's mainly for testing purpose (running my Python program). I'm not familiar with PHP so I do not want to set up a LEMP environment on the VPS. I think a shared hosting is good and stable enough to 'just blogging'.

Any specific location in mind? We could do you a custom plan in the UK for your budget on cPanel w/ CloudLinux.
All our hosting accounts are backed up offsite each night. Drop us a sales ticket if you want to discuss it further.
@Francisco might have what you need.
+1 for BuyShared, just go for it, don't even think about it, you won't regret it ._.

Actually, I'm currently using asmallorange. It is stable but I have no idea if it is necessary to migrate to a bigger company.
Check out FreshRoastedHosting. We've sent shared there in the past and all have been pleasantly surprised.
If it is stable and working well I see no reason for you to move
That's a good company for shared hosting from hearsay. It belongs to some evil webhosting parent company though who I can't remember atm. Actually, I tried to google it, but google's got a sense of humour today. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=evil+webhosting+parent+company&btnG=Search&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr
bluehost and justhost also belongs to that company. aha, here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endurance_International_Group
Seconding (thirding) buyshared, very happy with it
with that 10 bucks, you will not only get a month but a year with buyshared
If SSD is not a must we could do a good deal. We offer many extras ex. malware removal, DDoS protection, free Domain etc..
looks like buyshared won the campaign
however, you can still have a look at a not-well-known-one here https://hostedbilling.net
Do you know setting up the environment is as simple as
wget -c http://soft.vpser.net/lnmp/lnmp1.2-full.tar.gz && tar zxf lnmp1.2-full.tar.gz && cd lnmp1.2-full && ./install.sh lnmp
?

They are decent, have not had any issues with them and going on nearly 4 years for my account.
If you want, you can use my referral if they dont have any offers going on(None as of today), it is ANDREBLUE . It gives either 24$ off yearly or 2$ a month.
Of course I do. With Nginx, PHP5-fpm and MySQL, I can easily set up a PHP blog on my server. But I do not want to worry about the server. What I want to care is just the blog.
