Bandwidth in Asia/South Area is expensive. Thus usually there's a higher price tag on the VPSes there. Its hard to get a cheap Asia VPS, and expecting the same price for a USA VPS in Asia is basically non-existent (bandwidth wise).
Expensive bandwidth and most of the DC's currently operating focus on serving larger companies rather than smaller consumers, which makes the ones who offer it, like CTRLS charge more due to less options around. Hence pushing up the prices of VPSs and other hosting related services in India.
vr.org have the same prices for all locations (almost LEB/LET) including India except lower transfer
Multiple reasons:-
1. Bandwidth pricing.
2. IP Availability
3. Extremely low Competition
4. Bandwidth Speed
5. Unlimited (Seriously, a Big Joke)
6. BSNL a (The Biggest) IPS of India provides Unlimited 100Mbps for more than Rs.
80,000 ($ 1454) (Exchange Rate:- Rs55/$)
7. Lack of Data centers (If, then cost too high)
8. Many others

Looks like you belongs to India as well, know how much 3G/4G cost, also you might be knowing how Reliance, Tata and Others take for few GB of Bandwidth.
So how could you expect it to be very cheap in case of Businesses.
