Hi,

I am building server for in-house applications. The server should able to run proxmox or VMware esxi with hardware raid

What's your recommendation?

I am also curious how other providers are able to have IO at 300MB/s+ and very large disk space?

Thanks.

  • We get 350MB/s on 4 x 1TB in Hardware Raid 10, if you like I'll grab you the model of the drives. Also get around 9-12000 IOPS

  • @BenND what raid card?

  • LSI 9266 with BBU is at least 400-500MB/S 4x1TB RAID10. It's the cache on the raid card.

Yes please. Let me know what raid you're using and hard drive model as well.
