cPanel PHP
Hi Lads
I have a problem with cPanel and PHP.
Recompiled PHP + Apache using EasyApache and from console it gives me valid output
PHP 5.4.9 (cli) (built: Dec 13 2012 03:13:28)
Copyright (c) 1997-2012 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.4.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2012 Zend Technologies
but when running phpinfo() from browser it returns PHP Version 5.2.6.
Any idea what can be wrong?

Cpanel php and apache php are 2seperate things. I believe cpanel php internal is run as cli
There are separate scripts to rebuild cPanel's PHP, not sure if it'll let you change the version though.
phpinfo() shows valid path to php.ini - the problem is that I need to enable curl in cPanel and the only way which I found using Google is by using EasyApache
EasyApache is the only way you should handle PHP requirements like curl, GD, mbstring, mcrypt, etc
Not for internal cpanel php

yeah, found similar http://forum.likg.org.ua/server-side-actions/recompile-cpanel-internal-php-with-curl-curlssl-support-t452.html
Thanks lads

@gbshouse When compiling PHP via Easyapache, did you run through it in this path:
/scripts/easyapache
Start Customizing Based on Profile
(choose Apache)
(choose PHP version)
Exhaustive Options List
Page down twice to PHP 5.x, then put an X in the CurlSSL box. Choose any other modules you want/need.
Save and build
@Damian - it looks like cPanel itself is using separate PHP version than the one controlled via EasyApache. Anyway issue solved
