$3/YR is it sustainable at this time of IP4 Exhaustion ?? And $9/Yr 50 GB SSD ? Is it really SSD Drives ?
We've recently ordered in a large number of servers with /24 IPv4 that we need to fill up, hence the crazy good deals this week.
The configurations are really SSD drives, configurations for most servers:
Here's a recent review verifying RAID 10 SSD speed:
Why is NY +$7? It's closest one to EU.
Is there any other server location able than USA ?
I just want to clarify that New York is DDoS Protected, and is free for KVM.
We have limited stock for New York OpenVZ at this time, and once again, it is DDoS Protected and more popular, hence the +$1 per month or +$7 per year price increase. I have temporarily removed this price increase after re-evaluating the resources we have left. We will have to once again increase the price due to limited availabily at this time in that location, for OpenVZ.
Please order soon - if it fills up we'll have to place it out of stock until we order more servers or put in price increase for OpenVZ in New York again.
We only offer USA for this deal. We have limited availability in EU, but not for this offer. Contact us for a custom quote.
Grabbed the 256MB 5$ plan.. The server itself is pretty good for the price. Just the uptime, support, stability of performance and remaining lifetime of VirMach is unknown. But we'll see..
$3/year IPv4 = quick IP hoarding.
@VirMach
i just bought a 128Mb vps and i noticed that your solusvm control panel page does not have a Https page will that be changed soon
And for $3/year seems very good quality and peering for the price
Guys benchmark added below
Edit: Location--Dallas,Texas
We've already gotten approved for the IPs by the datacenters and it's justified. They are leased out - we do not get our blocks directly from ARIN. So if we did not get the IPs, they would just be unused by the datacenter. These are large nodes and we will actually be using all the IPs. We are offering the $3/yr option as a way to fill up the servers. The main reason we have a lot of IPv4 is our large dedicated proxy customer base.
We are technically losing money on that specific deal, but we will lose more money if servers are empty. Hope that explains the logic behind it.
We do have HTTPS SolusVM. However, it does not currently have an SSL certificate for that subdomain so it will not show a green bar. Just change the port to 5656 for SSL.
Great it worked
I know that $3/year just an promotion of your brand and its not sustainable
till now i'm surprised to Quality and network, your timely replys
if this goes for some time i will cancel my 2GB vultr for your KVM
Good luck with this promo
Just bought one, looks like great.
Location: NY
@VirMach Is there any reason my CPU frequency is limited to 600 MHz?
Seems 128mb is now $7.50? Was $3 only a limited offer price?
Finish the purchase
can you offer a Public IP address of New York KVM?
Thanks for the feedback! It means a lot.
It should be $3. It's limit one per customer. Please contact us if you can't use the promo as there's probably a reason and we may be able to override it.
We have an IP for New York - Looking Glass.
http://lg.virmach.com/
Great. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Actually, I do have a question.
Is there any reason my CPU frequency is limited to 600 MHz?
Do you offer one free location move like some other providers?
Looking at the information posted, it looks like you have the Elite+ plan, correct?
Your plan is supposed to be 2 vCores @ 1GHz as published on our site.
600MHz is a weird number. I'm thinking you got put on an E5-2620 v3 (2.4GHz) node which is a multiple of 600MHz, but you should have 2 vCores @1.2GHz and not 600MHz, so definitely do make a ticket so we can take a look.
As to answer your question on why we limit CPU, we do it differently from other providers for a couple of reasons and we believe it works out better for everyone.
Sorry if that's an extremely long reply - I just wanted to fully answer your question.
We do not have a set policy on this. We will definitely move you over if you want to permanently switch a location but if you're constantly switching locations, the only terms I can refer to is our possibly applicable $2 IP switch fee. This is to prevent abuse.
I have had bad luck in Buffalo and my need to switch to Dallas if it does not meet speed requirements
Sure, just send in a ticket for a location switch if that's your concern.
The only situations I can see where we will not provide the switch, is if (1) you get the IP blacklisted and want a switch as a result to change your IP, (2) you receive any abuse reports, (3) it's several switches, too often.
My ticket has been submitted.
Thanks for the reply.

The +$7 price is back on the $5 year plan I thought it was removed for the offer
It was temporarily removed for the offer. We've received too many orders at this location and need to re-instate the fee for the DDoS protection.
We'll most likely add this option back with free protection if we can order in a new server for that location in the next few days, if more space opens up, or once the popularity on this offer dies down a little. We really want to keep this offer going while supplies last, so for the time being you can consider the offer 'out of stock' for that location. Sorry for the inconvenience.
this ones are on regular, no discount, is that correct?
Those are discounted as well. Order link has the coupon applied to it. Regular price for those plans are $55.95 and $83.95 per year.
Ok I will keep an eye out over the next few days, DDoS Protection does not matter to me Buffalo just has the best latency for me.
ok i will check, im getting cloudflare error
Which error code are you receiving? I cannot re-create the issue. Our website should be up.
