Kimsufi of course!
kimsufi
Is the Kimsufi connection shared?
I can max out 100Mbps on mine
I can max 100mibt for over 72 hours so I'd say not. Or i'm just a horrible neighbor
You can go SoYouStart.com or Online.net route as well.
Possibly. He doesn't like the look of setup fees, haha.
He was looking at these: http://oneprovider.com/dedicated-servers/paris-france . Anyone used them?
Do you really need unmetered or is something like 25TB enough?
Yeah. Around 25TB would be enough.

Heard from a few friends Hetzner has bad peering.. Hm.
Hetzner has better peering than most providers here on LET.
+1 on Kimsufi. I've been able to max out the 100Mbps line 24/7 since I got the box over a year ago, don't think I've ever run into any slowdowns - and 100% uptime, except for the 9 mins where I didn't pay my bill on time so service got suspended.
Hetzner peers with OVH IIRC, which most of your torrent traffic will happen thru.
The port is shared (1G, or 10G) but they cap each server at 100Mbps.
I think the point is that the 100Mbps is pretty much always available, the switches most likely have multiple links back to the core.
I've seen rack-level slowdowns with Online.net servers (1G port, <50Mbps usable) but never with Kimsufis (100Mbps port, 100Mbps usable).
ServDiscount has servers with 2TB HDD for 20EUR. Not sure about their peering, but you have 1Gbit unmetered there.
If you are lucky, you could get a dacentec server for 20 to 30 and upgrade to unlimited bw?
Absolutly online.net
I'ev try hetzner and kimsufi. They good, but to asia online.net the best.
Is there a location you have in mind? I'm assuming EU because your budget is in euros but...
Online is pretty decent overall. I've heard only good things about hetzner.
Does someone know if the latter can be paid with PayPal ?
Online cant pay with paypal, usually i use netteler to pay online.net
Neteller is for those who have btc? Does it accept PayPal?
Just realized it was for torrenting, forget dacentec, my bad, sorry about that!
My friend got a server - Thanks all!
