Please could everyone please run mtr and wget against my Looking Glass it has the following blends. (DDoS Protected)

I will update this thread with new set of IPs that has PCCW and China Telecom.

    With this IP Range no traffic is going through Level 3 for some odd reason. it's all NTT. and that is why I have made this thread to prove a point.

    Also regarding the speed. not sure if that is just because the remote destination is LA. I have 50Mbps connection with TalkTalk and I'm getting 2Mb/s from LA.

    You can try the following IP 107.179.62.2 as a test to see what it's like with the Level 3 routes. How ever later on Today I'll update the thread with another Looking Glass that has all the routes I have to offer in Los Angeles.

    I do believe traceroutes only measure upload routes, not download. (like the host computer doing the traceroute would not get the routes it would use for downloading, only uploading)

    It would only account for upload speed, not download

    Testing how the 5 blends work with each other. and was to prove that there was only NTT on a certain prefix.

    That seems to obscenely much rely on Hutchinsons network for asian networks - is that some kind of new PCCW feature (like they now get more routes of HGC customers)?

    You really don't need a bunch of people to send you random tracerts to understand the networks used by your provider. Look at it in BGP.

    There is no Cognetco in the Network and the upstream ASN (Blacklotus) is a complete different network. they have similar uplinks each provider has their own uplinks and network. If you had read what I said previously the main intention of the thread was to prove a point as I mentioned in this post @ http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/1309904#Comment_1309526

    My whole intention of making the thread initially was to find out if the Prefix 104.255.227.0/24 has anything other then NTT. to prove a point... And secondly how is it just a thread to see what routes people get. It's to prove a point and that was already proved. now I'm having people test the route optimization.
