HostMaze - Sending out SPAM?

Just received an e-mail from HostMaze stating:

You are receiving this email because of your interest in VPS Hosting solutions and we would like to inform your about our latest offer at HostMaze.com

I don't know this company, have never heard of them, and I've certainly never subscribed to their mailing list.

The e-mail was sent using MailChimp and I reported it as SPAM.

Did anybody else get this e-mail?

Nope. I received the other spam messages that were reported here recently too (from either the CVPS or GH DB).

Not me and I wouldn't subscribe to a company that uses spam to get known, but their pricing is not too bad:

Careful. They share this info with the spammers (if my memory serves me well, there's even a callback for this).

I mean, if the DB is shared with several companies (or the same), they know who you are, which are your sites...

I got it too... never heard of hostmaze before, but seems to be targeted spam... pretty coincidental that it comes just a few days after gvh customers services being switched off? I don't suppose others that received it were ex gvh?

Iv'e been chatting with their live chat just a few minutes, then have a test IP for them and locate their IP is on HostClean also known as Rackhost maybe this is Phase7 Affliates?

I mean they could already be your hosting provider, so they might take actions against your sites - because they have access to your files.

Phase7 user here as well. Either they sold the DB, they were hacked or they're starting a few new companies.

There is something coincidence with this provider. and some Phase7 affliates such that Rackhost and HostClean. and their WHMCS seems not to be licensed.

The Phase-7 DB has been sold (@racksx confirmed he also bought it), so pretty clear where this did came from.

I got this email also as a customer of phase7, and this in the email reminds me of them...

I've been a client to Hostmaze for two months now and i didn't receive any spam/emails from them. Not today, not ever. If they sent out spam messages i supposed i should be on their list cause they have my email. The servers work extremely well and i'm happy with them.
