Temporary storage for 4gb file so i can wget it
Hello,
i have an issue uploading this large file via ftp, scp or even via web file upload, it timeouts. it timeouts not only for my server but for others too.
im curious if anyone of You know free web service allow me upload this file so i can wget it to my remote server? im working on Windows and thinking if i can install some Linux bootable image to my flash disk and somehow try rsync -u with continous trying so i can successfully complete this upload
final uploaded file must be downloadable via Linux wget
do you have any ideas please?

Thanks for advices, i ended up using Hirens boot CD (http://www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd) on flash disk and booting Parted Magic Linux (http://partedmagic.com/) from it (its part of HBCD) + from terminal i used proper rsync command to transfer large file from secondary flash disk to remote server.
rsync -avz ./myfile.tar.gz -e "ssh -p sshporthere" username@remoteserverip:/destinationdir/
+1 for transfer.sh, as it allows you to upload from a terminal as well.
It's also possible with curl.io (using this script I wrote), but it's not very nice, and requires that you have
jq
installed (because it emulates a Socket.io client).EDIT: Ah, crap. Looks like my script broke. Fixing it...
EDIT2: Fixed. Looks like curl.io switched to HTTPS.
