For $12 a year you'd be hard pressed to get those specs, cheapest I've seen near your specs is $20 per year (not in USA).

If you need a lot of locations and good service go with Edis.at. Might not be 12/y, but they have datacenters all over the world. Shout @William a message.

edis also has lots of IPS so would not be struck by the price increase.
They are in a great position to offer cheap VPSes for a long time.
The other providers are feeling the pressure, hopefully soon IPv6 will become the norm.

@dedicados - contact Castlegem or EDIS, I'm sure that they will help you

  • Yes i have one with Edis on Spain, one with Prometeus in Italy.

you are free to test the dns servers ( cesidian ), faster than google dns and with more .tld

  • thank you @gbshouse :-)
@dedicados - would be happy to help, but I'm afraid we cant offer it for the budget desired, I am sorry.
    cheers -
    oz.

I host 50% + of these servers :) They are fast for DNS.

Many at EDIS already, around 25 VPS providers I use in total.

Honestly, you just won't get 12/year in Europe. Maybe 12-15 euro/qtr.

@dedicados Email me, he's busy at the moment.

I've also got another VPS (Prometeus) in Italy and another 2 in the queue to be setup, Germany & Ukraine - I guess we'll have 2 Italy nodes.

Switching Australia providers too, due to a new DC / cheaper BW.

We can sponsor 1-2 VMs in EU (UK and AT, we have two unused Castlegem servers) in exchange of logo and link to Rage4 DNS and Castlegem (if Castlegem do not mind). What do you think @ozfingwe? PM me for details.

  • we don't mind :)
    cheers -
    oz.

  • Website doesn't even work here..

  • We have a few UK servers, one from me (at Virtio)

Austria is covered happily 2X at EDIS. Same with Iceland and a few other locations.

I think Alex thought VPS prices on new locations would be a bit cheaper / on par with US LEB pricing.

For IPv4 LEBs the prices will increase in EU for the very low end ones.
US will probably do the same in time, but not very soon.
